New Features
Email Notifications for Upcoming Content Archival
To give content owners greater visibility and time to act, Mediasite will now send automated email reminders 30 days before any video is archived under a system archive policy.
This new notification helps ensure that important content isn’t accidentally lost and gives owners the opportunity to review, download, or request policy exceptions before the scheduled archival takes place.
With this update, administrators can feel confident that creators and owners are proactively informed, making archive policies more transparent and manageable across your organization.
Custom Embed Sizes for LMS Integrations
Admins can now customize the embed dimensions for Mediasite Presentations and Channels when using LTI 1.3 integrations - ensuring a cleaner, more tailored look in LMS platforms like Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and Brightspace. The LMS Integration Settings page has also been updated to simplify configuration.
Improvements to Full Screen Playback on iOS
Fixed an issue where full-screen control would not work on iOS devices.
