After a student has submitted a presentation as part of an assignment it would be great if the member of teaching staff marking the work could add feedback in the form of annotations at points along the timeline. This would be the same as the retired functionality we used to see in the collections (it would be good to have this back as well ;))

We are planning a time/untimed notes capability in the player that should offer this ability. A student can take rich text notes, tied to specific times in a presentation or not. A faculty member can add a timed note to a video assignment submission and give the presentation owner (the student) the ability to view the note(s) for feedback. Or faculty can open up notes to everyone who has permission to view the presentation to leave annotations on the content. Formatted text, images, and other file uploads can all be part of a note.
