Mediasite Video Platform (MVP) 8.57.0 is focused on stability and reliability, with numerous bug fixes.
New Features
Assignment Submission Confirmation
Mediasite now provides a clear visual confirmation when a presentation has been submitted through the Video Assignment workflow.
Presentations submitted as assignments will display a dedicated play cover showing the presentation title, submitter, and submission date and time. This makes it easier for faculty to distinguish assignment submissions from presentations shared through standard LTI workflows.
The assignment submission play cover appears only for presentations submitted through the Video Assignment workflow and takes precedence over any configured quiz play cover.
Mediasite has updated its email service configuration to improve security and reliability. Cloud customers will begin seeing their sites transition to the new configuration automatically.
These changes are designed to improve email deliverability and help ensure that notifications and other emails sent by Mediasite reach their intended recipients.
